About Jobverify
You get a message: "We loved your profile and want to offer you a great remote job." It sounds real. The company has a logo. The recruiter has a photo. But something feels off.

Overview
What is Jobverify?
Jobverify is an MCP server that checks whether a recruiter or job offer is real by cross-referencing messages, company names, links, and emails against free public information sources. It is built for job seekers who want to quickly detect scams before responding.
How to use Jobverify?
Install once: add the server config to claude_desktop_config.json (command uvx, args ["--from", "git+https://github.com/yessGlory17/job-verify", "jobverify-mcp"]) or run claude mcp add jobverify -- uvx --from git+https://github.com/yessGlory17/job-verify jobverify-mcp in Claude Code. The only prerequisite is uv. After setup, paste a suspicious message and ask “Is this offer legit?” or use the built-in analyze prompt.
Key features of Jobverify
- Verifies company registration and business records
- Spots classic scam scripts (upfront fees, fake tasks, crypto)
- Checks domain age, look-alike domains, and phishing blocklists
- Validates email deliverability and phone number legitimacy
- No sign-up, no API keys, no data stored or sold
Use cases of Jobverify
- Check whether a recruiter’s message contains red flags like upfront fees or off-platform requests
- Confirm if a company name is a registered, real business
- Evaluate a job application link for phishing or brand-new domains
- Determine if an email or phone number belongs to the claimed recruiter
